January 9, 2008 -- Baltimore,MD-- Baltimore SmartCEO magazine/Hartman Business Technology are proud to announce the publication’s first annual Emerging Growth winners, which debuted in the Future 50 section of the January 2008 issue. These companies are celebrated in conjunction with the Future 50 winners. SmartCEO’s Emerging Growth winners are Exit 10 Advertising LLC, TX2 Systems, inc., TruePresence, LLC, Soteria Network Technologies, and 1st Electric, Inc.

The Future 50 program recognizes the 50 fastest growing companies in the Greater Baltimore area based on employee and revenue growth. This year’s Future 50 winners collectively employ 5,500 people and for the first time ever, have brought in more than $2 billion in revenues.

Winners will be recognized at the Baltimore SmartCEO Future 50 event, scheduled for Jan. 24, 2008, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel. To register for this event, contact Alyssa Bolognini at 410-342-9510, ext. 214 or Alyssa@smartceo.com by Jan. 16. Individual tickets are $150 and tables of 10 are $1,500. Serving as keynote speaker for this year’s event is former Baltimore Colts player, Tom Matee. Matee played for the Colts for 12 years and played in two Super Bowls, earning a ring at Super Bowl V when the Colts beat the Dallas Cowboys. To support Matee’s organization, 4th and Goal, a silent auction will be held at the event. Auction items include local sports memorabilia such as Ray Lewis, Cal Ripken and Brooks Robinson jerseys, Johnny Unitas autographed mini helmet, Kyle Boller autographed framed photo, and much more.

The common theme among the Emerging Growth CEOs is how key professional mentors have played a role in their current successes.

“The Emerging Growth program is about celebrating growth, which cannot be done without the help and support of others. Whether it is a parent, business partner, or previous employer, we see the value and impact these individuals have and feel privileged to be part of the celebration of how far these CEOs and their companies have come,” says SmartCEO Publisher, Craig Burris.

Baltimore SmartCEO thanks Hartman Business Technology, Grant Thornton LLP, DLA Piper, Point Breeze Credit Union, MRI Network, SunTrust Bank, Bank of America, Medex, SMART Business Advisory and Consulting, LLC, Susquehanna Bank, Trusted Technologies, High Mountain Signs and M&T Bank for their sponsorship of the single most important networking event of the year.
